Student Stabs Classmate With Pencil

10-20-06 - A 13-year-old Piner Middle School student is accused of stabbing a classmate with a pencil on Wednesday morning. Sherman Police say the incident happened after the two boys got into an argument.

One of the boy's tried to hit the other, and as he walked away, the student pulled out a pencil and stabbed the victim twice in the back.

The child will be all right. He went back to class after the nurse cleaned up the wound.

The 13-year-old suspect was taken into juvenile custody and faces a charge of aggravated assault.
