Fundraiser Held For Paralyzed Man

A fundraiser was held Sunday for Greg Denison who suffered a near fatal injury while performing a stunt on October 7th. Fat Daddy’s in Denison hosted the fundraiser that included live music and a bake sale. Donations were accepted to help Denison with his rehabilitation.

Two weeks ago, Denison attempted to jump ten mega-cab trucks at Hoyte Dodge on motorcycle. The jump was about 100 feet long, and one he had made successfully several times, but during a warm-up jump, he flew off his bike and hit the landing ramp feet first. He was flown to Parkland where he underwent back surgery.

Although still partially paralyzed today, Denison is starting to lift his right leg up a couple of inches. He will spend the next two years in a Dallas rehabilitation center.

The event raised $10,000 dollars. If you would like to donate, visit any American Bank location and ask to make a donation in Greg Denison’s name.
