Early Voter Turnout High in Grayson Co.

11-03-06 – Friday is the last day for Texas voters to vote early at the polls. In Grayson County, officials say about 7,500 people have voted as of Thursday. Voting officials say that number is slightly higher than usual for an off year election.

According to the Grayson County Clerk, candidates and political parties are encouraging voters to hit the polls, and that’s been a big help the turnout.

Polls will remain open until 7PM Friday, and after that, voters will have to wait until Tuesday, November 7th to cast their ballot.
