Road work zones to avoid this holiday weekend
If your holiday travel plans take you through Oklahoma, be prepared for traffic congestion. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says you can expect delays on several busy Texoma roads.

If your holiday travel plans take you through Oklahoma, be prepared for traffic congestion. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says you can expect delays in the areas listed below.
•US-69 AT ATOKA/PITTSBURG COUNTY LINE
•NORTHBOUND US-69 NARROWED AT ATOKA/BRYAN COUNTY LINE
•SOUTHBOUND US-69 NARROWED AT U-S 70 IN DURANT
•WORK ZONES US-70 THROUGH OAKLAND, WEST OF MEAD
•REDUCED SPEED ON US-70 BETWEEN HUGO AND SAWYER
•US-70 BETWEEN SH 98 AND GARVIN IN MCCURTAIN CO.
In Texas, crews will not be out working, but some of the projects they are working on are causing delays, as they are not complete. TXDOT says they do not anticipate any road closures.
