11-15-06 – The Salvation Army kicked off its Kettle Drive in Ardmore Wednesday, with a ribbon cutting by Mayor John Moore. There were also performances by the Salvation Army Tembrel Brigade and Lone Grove High School Brass Ensemble.
The event has been a Holiday tradition since 1981 to raise money for needy families. The goal this year is to raise $40,000 thousand.
The Ardmore Salvation Army serves Carter, Marshall, Murray and Love counties.
