Two upper level waves will interact with a warm and very moist air mass to generate thunderstorms through Saturday. Lightning and torrential rainfall that could cause flash flooding are the primary threats...with a secondary threat of damaging winds. Turn around, don't drown!
11-19-06 - An afternoon fire in Mead, Oklahoma damaged several buildings. The fire began in the early afternoon, and destroyed two storage facilities behind two homes on Evergreen.
Fire departments from west Bryan County, Lakewood and Silo battled the blaze. The owner of one of the buildings lost two vehicles in the fire.
Investigators are still searching for a cause.
