BENNINGTON, Okla. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the possible homicide of a Kansas City man in Bryan County.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says 39-year-old William Randall was drinking with another man at a bar in the Bryan County town of Bennington. O-S-B-I spokeswoman Jessica Brown says Randall asked the other man for a ride home, and the two got into a physical altercation along the way.
The other man then left the victim near the side of the road and drove home. Passers by noticed the victim and called police. Randall was taken to a hospital in Durant, where he was pronounced dead.
Brown says investigators haven't made any arrests in the case and are awaiting the result of an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
