Sleet will change to snow before ending west to east late tonight/early Thursday. Wind chills of 5 to 10 degrees...with air temperatures in the low 20s...can be expected. Wind are blowing about 30 mph. Roads will be icy tonight and Thursday morning but should melt during the day as skies clear and temperatures rise above freezing.
11-22-06 - More than 400,000 Oklahomans are expected to hit the road this Thanksgiving season. ODOT says drivers should not experience any major tie ups between Oklahoma City and Dallas; however a project near mile marker 28 may slow traffic for about a mile or two.
Meanwhile, in Texas, Grayson County DPS Troopers will be out on patrol throughout the weekend making sure travelers are safe. Officials say they will be keeping a special eye out for drivers speeding and driving recklessly to make sure that everything goes smoothly.
