Hit-and-run suspect arrested in Sherman
SHERMAN, TX -- A man wanted for hitting two other men with a car last month was arrested. David Boyd, Sr. was arrested Thursday afternoon by U.S. Marshals and Sherman Police at a home on North Burdette in Sherman.

SHERMAN, TX -- A man wanted for hitting two other men with a car last month was arrested. David Boyd, Sr. was arrested Thursday afternoon by U.S. Marshals and Sherman Police at a home on North Burdette in Sherman.
Authorities say officers entered the house this afternoon and took Boyd into custody on an outstanding warrant.
On June 15th, police say Boyd hit 47-year-old Edward Chappell and his son, 20-year-old Jeren Green, with a car in the parking lot of Sherman Oaks Apartments and then fled the scene. Neither Chappell nor Green was seriously hurt.
Boyd faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
