MARSHALL COUNTY, OK -- A Marshall County woman is behind bars again, this time for 25 years after police say she broke the terms of her parole.

Amanda Thompson, 23, had served a year behind bars after pleading guilty to manslaughter and negligent homicide after she caused an automobile accident that killed Carter County sheriff deputy’s wife and child in 2007. (See Related Stories Below)

Thompson was released in March of this year, but now after allegedly failing a drug test while on 5 years probation, Thompson has been sentenced to 25 years in a state prison.

She must serve 21 years of her sentence before she is eligible for parole again.
