Bearcats hire Gary Joe Kinne
The Sherman Bearcats have hired former Canton High School coach Gary Joe Kinne to be their head coach and athletic director.

The Sherman Bearcats have hired former Canton High School coach Gary Joe Kinne to be their head coach and athletic director.

Kinne was approved by the school board on Tuesday night by a unanimous 7-0 vote.

Kinne worked as an assistant at Baylor University under Guy Morriss. He was most recently a head coach at Clovis High School in California.

Kinne replaces Drew Young, who left to take the athletic director only job at Durant High School.
