11-17-03 A man who escaped from the Love County jail is back behind bars.
Manuel Gomez turned himself in to authorities early Monday morning. He escaped just hours after he was booked into the Love County jail on Sunday afternoon. Gomez was in custody on a warrant for failing to appear on a charge of driving with a suspended license.
