Oklahoma Jail in the Dark

The Mac Alford Correctional Facility in Stringtown has been without power since Sunday. Department of Corrections officials blame winter weather for the power outage.

There are generators on site that are currently keeping on surveillance lights, but the inmates are without heat and running water. Jail officials are bringing 1,300 gallons of water into the facility.

Ofiicials also say the locks still work, so residents should not be concerned about a security risk.
