Federal prosecutors in Muskogee, Oklahoma charged six men with conspiracy to possess and intent to distribute illegal drugs
The U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Oklahoma is callings this one of the largest illicit controlled substance networks in Southeast Oklahoma and Northeast Texas.
Today U.S. Attorney Sheldon J. Sperling said his office concluded the prosecution phase of a large drug distribution investigation.
The Conspirators did business in a large area including McCurtain County and Choctaw County, and even as far south as Austin, TX.
The trial was originally scheduled for August 31, 2009 in the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. But the recently secured guilty pleas eliminated the need for an extended jury trial.
The following defendants have now pled guilty and face federal felony charges, millions in fines and prison:
•Jeffrey Lyn Pierce, 60,Hugo, OK.
Distributor of illegal prescription drugs and methamphetamine in and around Hugo.
•Jack Henderson, 64, Elgin, TX.
Licensed pharmacist in Austin, TX and primary source of supply for illicit prescription drugs.
•Billy Joe Green, a.k.a. “Bill Bill”, 34, Idabel, OK.
Source of supply of methamphetamine and cocaine for drug distributors in McCurtain and Choctaw counties.
•Martin Wayne Young, a.k.a. “Marty”, 39, Wright City, OK.
Large scale distributor of methamphetamine and cocaine in McCurtain and Choctaw counties.
•Charles Andrew Todd, a.k.a. “Pepe”, 35, Millerton, OK.
Large scale distributor of methamphetamine and cocaine in McCurtain and Choctaw counties.
•Charles Edward King, a.k.a. “Cadillac”, 32, Idabel, OK.
