United Way Donations Down as Deadline Nears
12-29-03 - Dozens of local charities could suffer in Grayson County’s United Way campaign falls short.
With their original deadline only days away, the campaign is still $200,000 short of its $1.4 million goal. Twenty-two local charities rely on United Way funding and have already suffered a 6% cut from last year.
But United Way officials are remaining positive and even extending their deadline. If you’d like to donate, you can reach the United Way at (903) 893-1920.
