SHERMAN, TX -- If you live in Texas, you've probably heard of 211, and know that it can direct you to plenty of social services.
But now, there's an easy way to find exactly what you need.
The Texoma Area Information Center recently published its 2009 Texoma Resource Book.
The guide lists several service agencies that offer everything from legal assistance to substance abuse counseling, veterans services, to mortgage assistance and dental referrals.
The guide is meant to complement the 211 phone service which allows a person to call and speak to a specialist about a problem they need help with.
"Anyone who wants to get the book can go to our web sight or they can pick up the phone and call 211," said Mary Hodges with the Texoma Area Information Center.
