Man Murdered, Girlfriend Suspect

1/11/04-- An Ardmore man was stabbed to death last night and his girlfriend is behind bars for the crime.
21-year-old Camille Rowe was arrested around 11 a.m. Sunday for the murder of 39-year-old Cesar Villareal of Ardmore.

Ardmore police say it happened at a home in the 600 Block of G Street NE between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday night.

Eyewitnesses say Rowe and Villareal had an argument and she stabbed him in the chest with a knife, then left the home.

Villareal did not go to the hospital and friends found him dead in the home early Sunday morning. His body has been sent to the Medical Examiner's office in Oklahoma City for an autopsy. Rowe is being held in the Carter County jail and has been charged with first-degree murder. No bail has been set.
