HUGO – A man wanted in two Oklahoma counties was captured Wednesday by Choctaw County authorities. Lee Jerome Whiddon is accused of writing bogus checks totaling less than $1,000 there. Authorities say Whiddon is also wanted in Bryan County for similar charges.

Choctaw County Undersheriff Perry Park arrested Whiddon at a home in Grant, Oklahoma on Wednesday. If convicted in Choctaw County, Whiddon faces up to a year in jail and $500 in fines.
