A former Police Chief and World War II veteran was laid to rest today in Ardmore. Friends and family gathered to say goodbye to 85-year-old Domenick Marchesani.
He was Ardmore Police Chief from 1966 to 1972. Before that he served in the United Sates Army during World War II where he received the Good Conduct Medal and Bronze Service Star.
Marchesani leaves behind a wife, two kids, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
