Bryan County Fire officials say recent high winds have fanned flames across the county, causing several controlled burns to get out of hand this week. Tonight we remind you not to burn in the windy conditions.

Emergency officials say Anthony Dengler, 18, was burning trash in the back of his trailer home when a gust of wind blew some of the trash underneath the house. Volunteer crews say they had a hard time getting to the flames, which destroyed the trailer.

Emergency management officials say people need too pay attention to weather conditions before another controlled burn gets out of hand.

Officials say although the trailer was destroyed, no one was hurt.
