The fires that burned in Texoma Saturday are nearly extinguished, but some still remain in Bryan County. Firefighters battled flames in Bryan County Sunday afternoon, near Silo.
Officials said they worked on a grass fire in the woods, off of Church and Ranchette Road that covered over 2,000 acres. Officials said they don't know how it started, and they're still investigating.
The fire comes one day after a 300-acre blaze off of Church Road, near Silo School, that started Saturday afternoon, and rekindled Sunday.
