Fuel spill on 69/75 backs up traffic
COLBERT, OK -- Clean up of a fuel spill and accident in Southern Bryan County ties up traffic along 69/75 Wednesday afternoon.

COLBERT, OK -- Clean up of a fuel spill and accident in Southern Bryan County ties up traffic along 69/75 Wednesday afternoon.

It happened in Colbert just north of the Love's Truck Stop.

Police tell us 150 gallons of diesel spilled onto the northbound lanes of the highway during an accident involving two semi's.

Troopers say a paint truck was striping the highway, when a semi driver swerved to avoid the paint truck, and ran off into a ditch.

Neither of the two people in the semi truck were hurt The paint truck driver was taken to a Durant hospital with minor injuries.

Troopers say the crash was caused by driver inattention.
