First Snowfall of Year Melting Away

2-14-04 - Texoma wasn't seeing red this Valentines Day. Instead, white was the color of the day, as most of North Texas and parts of Southern Oklahoma awoke to snow Saturday morning. It was an upper level low that spun out across the Red River area, striking as far south as Killeen and bringing snow to many areas that rarely see it. Several minor accidents were reported in Grayson County during the early morning hours and troopers advise travelers to beware of slick spots on bridges and overpasses. The snow on the ground could be around until Sunday.
