TRENTON, TX -- Rain Tuesday left some areas of Fannin County underwater. Streets and homes in Trenton had some minor flooding Tuesday afternoon.
Creeks and low-lying areas overflowed as well. Some residents worry what the high water will damage their property, and more importantly their foundations.
"We need to find a way to make the water run off to a field or something cause all it is going to do to these houses when it floods like that is mess up the foundation cause this is on pier and beam and once that soaks in it's just going to sink in and make the house un-level," said resident Devin Booth.
And with more heavy rain on the way later this week, Trenton residents say they hope the flood waters don't rise again.
