Vacant Denison house destroyed by fire
DENISON, TX – Denison firefighters battled a blaze early Tuesday morning at a vacant house off Randall Lake Road.

DENISON, TX – Denison firefighters battled a blaze early Tuesday morning at a vacant house off Randall Lake Road.

Officials on the scene say a man driving down U.S. Highway 75 saw a huge cloud of smoke in the Randall Lake Road area near FM 84 and called the fire department.

When they arrived on Mitchell-Snider Street, firefighters found an abandoned home completely engulfed. They immediately went into defense mode to be sure the fire didn't spread.

The house is considered to be a total loss. No one was injured.
