HOWE, TX -- Rainfall led to flash flooding Sunday night in Howe. Heavy rains caused water to stand on roads, and pile up debris, like at the Howe Police Station.

Standing water on Highway 75 also caused a three car pile-up in Howe Sunday night.

Five people were transported to Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman with non life threatening injuries after two cars that had slowed down on the highway due to high water were rear ended by another car.

While none of the injuries were critical, the road was closed until the water receded.

U.S. Highway 75 was reopened late Sunday night.
