4-09-04 Two Van Alstyne school administrators are on payed suspension, now parents are demanding some answers. It all goes back to a mandatory staff meeting called Tuesday night by Elementary Principal Sandra Bodack. Teachers we spoke with said Bodack reprimanded the teachers, using the bible, for a lack of support for their Assistant Principal Allison Cobb. The school board recently declined to renew Cobbs contract with the district. Now, because of that meeting Tuesday night, one teacher has filed a grievance with the school against Bodack. One question raised was the separation of Church and State. The Van Alstyne Superintendent would not give details on the grievance or the case but we're told an investigation is underway.
