When it rains, it pours-- inside Ardmore elementary schools.

Franklin Elementary school janitors spent the day replacing ceiling tiles until they ran out of materials.

They say everywhere they turned, they found a new leak.

The other three elementary schools in Ardmore experienced the same frustrations.

The buildings are not equipped with storm shelters, so if a tornado was to hit, students are forced to take shelter in their classrooms or bathrooms.

"It horrified me when I saw news in Hope, Arkansas; those children took shelter in the best possible places they could find in halls and classroom. They didn't protect those kids," said Principal Denise Brunk of Franklin Elementary

If voters approve the bond issue on Tuesday to build phase two of the new elementary school.

The building can be equipped with a storm shelter to withstand an F-4 tornado.
