Sentencing Hearing Ends - No Verdict

4-16-04 - Both sides have rested in the sentencing hearing for Glenn Butler, but a judge will not give his decision until next month.

Butler, the former co-owner of Competition Chrysler in Denison plead guilty last month to six felony counts for his part in a trade-in scam. Dozens of witnesses took the stand this week, including Butler himself.

The prosecution is asking for jail time, while the defense asked the judge for butler to pay restitution and be put on probation. A judge will sentence him on May 7th.
