Truck Driver Kidnapped, Assaulted

04-25-04- A truck driver was asleep in his rig in Bryan County this afternoon when he got a rude awakening. A woman was banging on his door, flashing a gun, and demanding all of his money.

Deputies say the man was asleep in his truck just before 4 p.m. Sunday at the information center on the Oklahoma-Texas border. He woke up when a woman started banging on his door. When he opened the door, the woman was holding a black revolver and demanding all of his money. He gave her $40 dollars in cash, but told investigators she was angry that's all the cash he had and told him to get in her car.

They drove to a Denison gas station where the woman told the man to put gas in her car. When he went inside to pay, she drove away.

Sunday night, Denison police arrested one female suspect.
