LOVE COUNTY, OK -- One man is dead in Love County after a car accident on Interstate 35 near mile marker 14 on Sunday. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 73-year-old Dale Bannister was traveling northbound in a 2008 Chrysler when he ran off the road and struck a guard rail.

LOVE COUNTY, OK -- One man is dead in Love County after a car accident on Interstate 35 near mile marker 14 on Sunday.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 73-year-old Dale Bannister was traveling northbound in a 2008 Chrysler when he ran off the road and struck a guard rail. The car then rolled over twice and struck a bridge support.

Bannister was pronounced dead as he was being transported to the hospital.

No word on why his car left the road.
