DURANT, OK -- One arrest leads to another as two people are busted on drug charges over the weekend in Bryan County.

It began at the Microtel Inn and Suites in Durant Saturday night when police searched the room of 25-year-old William Sherer. Inside they found meth, marijuana, and other prescription narcotics. Sherer was arrested, but police weren't done yet.

Then last night while police were in possession of Sherer's phone, police suspected someone was trying to contact him to set up a drug deal. After a series of text messages were exchanged with Durant Police posing as Sherer, a meeting was set up, and officers busted 36-year-old Christy Willeby at Durant convenience store with meth and marijuana as well.

Both Sherer and Willeby were booked into the Bryan County Jail.
