Work continues on Grayson County’s Holiday Lights display
DENISON, TX – Monday’s cooler weather is a reminder to start digging out those holiday decorations and Christmas light, but how about setting up 350,000 watts of lights? That's what Grayson County has been working on for six weeks now in preparations for their Holiday Lights display.

DENISON, TX – Monday’s cooler weather is a reminder to start digging out those holiday decorations and Christmas light, but how about setting up 350,000 watts of lights? That's what Grayson County has been working on for six weeks now in preparations for their Holiday Lights display.

Currently workers are going through checking every single light bulb in over 60 decorative displays. The county says they can always use more volunteers to help get ready for the holiday season. Though the work is tedious, the men turning on the twinkling lights say it's worth it.

"I like doing it for the kids, and you know parents seeing their kids happy you know, it's wonderful it's a wonderful time of year," says Josh Snow.

Holiday Lights will officially open on November 27. Admission is free.
