Sherman woman stabs self in faux robbery
SHERMAN, TX -- A Sherman woman tells police she'd been wounded in a robbery at her home only for officers to discover she'd stabbed herself.

SHERMAN, TX -- A Sherman woman tells police she'd been wounded in a robbery at her home only for officers to discover she'd stabbed herself.
Sherman Police say it happened last night around six in the 900 block of West Birge. The 36-year-old woman told police someone took her into her home, stole prescriptions from her purse, and cut her with a knife.
Upon further investigation, police determined the woman was lying about what happened and that she'd stabbed herself.
The woman was taken to a local hospital, where a psychological evaluation was conducted.
