SHERMAN, TX -- Crowds of people gathered around the Cinemark theater in Sherman Thursday afternoon and evening, awaiting the midnight premiere of the much anticipated movie, "New Moon".

Some fans tell us they purchased their tickets online nearly two months ago.

This is the second film in the popular book series "Twilight"--about a teenage girl who falls in love with a vampire.

The line started forming Thursday afternoon for the Cinemark showing of "Twilight", starting at 9:00 p.m., and many fans say they planned to stay in their seats to watch the "New Moon" premiere immediately following.

"It''s been crazy," said Amy Simmons, with Cinemark. "We're showing 'New Moon' on all of our screens and they're all sold out. So we've got a lot, we're expecting a lot of people. We hope nothing goes wrong, we're pretty prepared. It's crazy I've never seen anything like this."

"Seeing which ones were playing like Ada, here, there's very select places. And we're very familiar with Sherman, so here we are," said one fan.

"Have you seen the pictures of Rob Patinson and Taylor Lawtner, they're really pretty. They're six hour pretty," another fan said.
