Storms Roll Across Texoma

4-30-04 - April went out with a roar Friday night as thunderstorms moved across the southern Oklahoma and north Texas viewing area. Power outages were reported, including a feeder line in Sherman.

Local communities saw sparse blackouts, including 115 in Marietta and 161 in Bennington. Most of those homes have had power restored.

Reported damage was minimal though. Possible tornadoes were spotted in the Jefferson County area before dark but did not appear to do any damage.

Southeastern Spring Commencement set for May 11
