(Stillwater-AP) -- Former US Representative Wes Watkins pleaded
innocent Monday in Payne County District Court to two charges of
negligent homicide. He was charged in connection with a traffic accident that happened April 19th.

Watkins' minivan struck a Stillwater couple's car. The car was pushed into oncoming traffic and was struck by a tanker truck and a car.

Brian Cullen and his wife, Ardith Cullen, were killed. Watkins says he didn't see brake lights or a turn signal when the Cullens stopped to turn.
