PAULS VALLEY, Okla. -- The Garvin County District Attorney is seeking the death penalty against a Wynnewood man accused of gunning down his wife in broad daylight.
District attorney Greg Mashburn filed a bill of particulars today against Franklin Cecil Green.
The document states Green was previously convicted of a felony involving violence against a person and his wife's murder was especially cruel. Therefore, he would continue to be a threat to society if convicted.
Green is accused of shooting his newly married wife, Gloria, in front of her downtown barber shop in early April.
He is scheduled to appear in court this summer for a preliminary hearing.
