KINGSTON, Okla. -- The man accused of shooting at a Kingston police officer and sending authorities on a manhunt in March was scheduled to appear in court today.
The judge was supposed to address whether Curtis Davis was competent to stand trial, but his hearing was continued until next month.
He is facing a slew of charges including attempted murder and assaulting a police officer.
Police say the officer tried to stop Davis near a convenience store along Highway 70 on March 25th. The two got into an altercation, and Davis grabbed the officer's gun and fired at him.
No one was hurt.
