Jefferson Co. emergency management director dead at 53
JEFFERSON COUNTY, OK -- Oklahoma's longtime emergency management director lost a six-year battle with cancer over the weekend. Steve Goza was 53.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, OK -- Oklahoma's longtime emergency management director lost a six-year battle with cancer over the weekend. Steve Goza was 53.

Goza, pictured here receiving the award for Oklahoma's Emergency Management Director of the Year in 2008, died Sunday of pancreatic cancer.

Services will be at the Addington Baptist Church on Tuesday at 10 a.m. The family asks that donations be made to the Jefferson County Office of Emergency Management in lieu of flowers.

Goza has served as Jefferson County's emergency management director for the last 13 years.
