Two women arrested for making meth near toddler
Ardmore, OK--Police became suspicious after a strong chemical odor in the Pecan Creek apartment complex that is usually tied to the manufacturing of meth was noticed earlier in the day by an off duty officer.

Ardmore, OK--Police became suspicious after a strong chemical odor in the Pecan Creek apartment complex that is usually tied to the manufacturing of meth was noticed earlier in the day by an off duty officer.

Police then raided the apartment later that night and found a shake and bake meth lab inside the apartment along with twenty one year old Angela Dawn Hale and twenty six year old Crystal Williams-Pryor who were arrested and charged with intent to manufacture.

A two year old little boy was also inside the apartment at the time of the arrest but police are not commenting on whether he was the son of one of the woman that was taken into custody.

The child was checked out on scene by EMS and later transferred into the custody of DHS where he will remain until further notice.

In addition to the original charges both woman can expect to be charged with endangering a child for allowing the toddler to be around such a dangerous substance.

Both woman will remain in the Carter County jail until their bond is posted.
