SHERMAN, TX -- An accident Friday left an elderly woman's property destroyed.
The 83-year-old woman woke up to what she thought was an explosion outside her mobile home at 1 a.m. , but someone drove a Pontiac Grand-Am completely through her storage shed at the Town and Country Estates in the 6400 block of Texoma Parkway.
The car continued on, knocking down her neighbor's fence and hitting their shed as well.
When neighbors came out to see what the commotion was, the driver was nowhere to be found and had left the car behind.
The woman has no idea who was responsible for the crash. Police say they can run the vehicle's plates to find the owner, but may not know the driver.
