05-26-04 - (McAlester, Oklahoma-AP) -- A woman whose husband was killed in the Oklahoma City bombing says she's "thrilled" that Terry
Nichols was convicted of state murder charges. Diane Leonard says "after nine years, the families who lost loved ones finally have justice."

She also says she was surprised that it took only a few hours
for jury deliberations. Leonard credits a strong prosecution case
and closing arguments.

The conviction on state murder charges means Nichols could face
the death penalty. He's already serving a life prison sentence
after his earlier conviction on federal charges.
