ANNA, TX - Police in Anna, Texas, say an Arrow Trucking Company driver who had been missing since Christmas Day has phoned his family and is safe in Iowa.

John Eischens of Anna was one of hundreds of truckers stranded when Tulsa-based Arrow closed suddenly on Dec.22 and his family filed a missing persons report on him last week.

He was last seen Christmas Day in Montana, where he cleaned out his truck, which was out of fuel, and turned over the keys to the manager of the Pilot Truck Stop.
