Denison man sentenced to 99 years for robbery
SHERMAN, TX - A man convicted of robbery will spend the rest of his life in prison. Forty-four-year-old William Michael Wilson, of Denison was convicted by a jury last week on one count of Aggravated Robbery.

SHERMAN, TX - A man convicted of robbery will spend the rest of his life in prison. Forty-four-year-old William Michael Wilson, of Denison was convicted by a jury last week on one count of Aggravated Robbery.

Denison Police say on November 12, 2006, Wilson held up the Diamond Shamrock on North Austin Avenue. After hearing evidence about Wilson's criminal record at his trial, the jury recommended Wilson receive 99 years in prison.

District Judge "Rim" Nall, followed that recommendation, sentencing Wilson to 99 years on January 7th.
