WILSON, OK - The cause of an explosion and massive blaze at a Wilson business Monday night is till under investigation today after burning throughout the night. Austin Wright has the latest.

Last night Wilson resident Kimberly Ellis says she was concerned after she heard on her police scanner that authorities might be evacuating nearby residents like her because of an intense fire that broke out at the LW Warehouse around 7:30 last night.

Ellis says she was more concerned for her kids than anyone else. When she realized they weren't going to be forced from their home, she grabbed her camcorder and captured this footage.

She says she heard several explosions that firefighters believed at the time were several propane tanks inside the building during the time of the fire.

Highway 76 was shut down for several hours as firefighters fought the blaze. Now it's the day after, and evidence like melted glass on trucks shows how intense the fire truly was.

LW Operations manager Chris Watkins says the fire could have been much worse. Officials we spoke to earlier say fumes from a leaky propane tank that ignited near a heater might have been to blame, but Watkins says the cause of the fire is still unknown.

As the cause of the fire is still under investigation one thing that Watkins does agree on is the outstanding work by local firefighters.

Watkins also says he is glad no one was hurt in the explosion.
