Flooding a Concern in Texoma

6-9-04 - Most of Texoma is under a flash flood watch, and in some areas, water is already clogging roads and creeks.

Nearly 48 hours of rain is turning dangerous from Ardmore to Gainesville, and west in Fannin County. Ardmore police officers were out in force Wednesday afternoon, checking on rising waters along roadways and low lying areas.

Despite a flash flood warning Wednesday night in Cooke County, so far there have been no reports of serious flooding.

Several accidents along I-35 landed cars in the ditch. The OHP says most happened due to the wet roads.
