RAVENNA, TX - Three Fannin County Sheriff's Deputies are recovering tonight after they were injured on the job Sunday.

Sheriff Kenneth Moore says when the deputies responded to a disturbance call on County Road 1115 just north of Ravenna. They were met by a mentally distraught woman, armed with two large kitchen knives.

After several attempts to speak with her, Moore says the deputies used non-lethal rounds to subdue her, but in the process she cut all three deputies. The woman also cut her finger.

She and the deputies were all treated and released from Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham.

The woman was then taken to a mental facility. No charges are pending.
