No Winner in Highest Ever Jackpot

06-17-04 - Another jackpot came and went Wednesday night. No one won the record $120 million lotto, meaning a bigger jackpot is on the way. At one point, tickets were being sold at a rate of 40,000 a minute across the state as people rushed in to buy last minute picks.

For every ticket bought, 36 cents went to the State of Texas to fund several programs. Twenty five tickets matched at least five numbers and are worth $9,959. In all, over 500,000 other cash prizes will be awarded and the prize payout totaled $3,359,725.

The next drawing will be for $145 million on Saturday night.

The winning numbers for Wednesday night’s drawing were 8-9-19-22-26. The bonus ball was 8.
