Sherman man sentenced for sexually assaulting child
SHERMAN, TX - A Sherman man was sentenced to 30 years in prison Thursday for repeatedly sexually assaulting a young girl.

SHERMAN, TX - A Sherman man was sentenced to 30 years in prison Thursday for repeatedly sexually assaulting a young girl.

The Grayson County District Attorney's Office tells us a jury sentenced 33-year-old Randy Kranning to 30 years in prison after hearing detailed accounts of multiple incidents where he touched the girl inappropriately over a three year period starting when she was ten years old.

Kranning has a long history of drug abuse and had previously served time in prison for burglary and theft. He was currently also facing a cocaine possession charge.
